If during the lifetime of your Rakaia Designs product, it becomes non-functioning or defective, we will make an effort to repair your gear, or if necessary, replace it. We evaluate warranty claims on a case-by-case basis with the ultimate objective of equipping you with safe, functioning gear ready for adventure.
While Rakaia Designs gear is designed for the most foolhardy adventurers, please note that our warranty does not cover:
✔️Normal wear-and-tear, including damage that occurs due to normal wear and aging of goods
✔️Cosmetic wear unrelated to function or safety, such as loose threads and scuffs
✔️Damage caused by misuse, including bleaching caused when hammocks are not packed after use, rips and tears caused by pets or other animals, burns caused by fire embers or cigarettes, and ripping caused by sharp objects
